COVID - 19
The announcement made by the government on Friday 31st July means we are forced to cancel all events for the remainder of the year. The reasons for this are outlined below, and we hope that you can understand the unique and deeply frustrating position we find ourselves in.
We had been re-assessing the guidelines on a monthly basis; keeping everyone's dates open in the hope that rules would be changed and restrictions eased.
As of August 1st - small gatherings and wedding receptions were due to benefit from easing of restrictions that would allow for low-key events indoors, with designated seating and table service, as long as the venue was Covid-secure.
Unfortunately the government instead announced a U-turn on Friday. The current rules are still in place meaning that our venue must remain closed for the foreseeable future. The earliest that venues such as ours can now expect an update is October 1st (let alone re-open) and judging by Friday's extension of the ban, our hope that venues and parties can re-start soon looks unlikely, and restrictions may even strengthen as we go into the winter.
We know this is very disappointing and frustrating but unfortunately we are left with no choice.
If you would like to postpone your date to next year this would be hugely appreciated - if not, we can issue you with a full refund.
We are really sorry again for any disappointment caused, I can assure you we feel exactly the same.
