What is the max capacity at The Engine Room?

- Our maximum capacity is 180 

Is there a minimum number of attendees?

- On Fridays and Saturdays, there must be a minimum number of 50 attendees for any private hire, as these days are in high demand all year round.

Do you have wheelchair access?

- Yes - we have wheelchair accessibility and toilet facilities.

Do you allow events for under 18's? 

- Yes we do. Please specify this in your enquiry, as we have specific terms for this type of event.

Can we leave decorations / equipment at the venue overnight? 

- Yes - all gear must be claimed no later than midday the following day.

How long can we have the venue for a private party?

Doors are typically open from 7 pm and last orders are at 1.30 am - doors close at 2 am. If you require different opening hours please let us know in your enquiry. 

How do I pay?

- We require a 50% deposit to secure your date. The final balance is due 6 weeks before your event date.

What is is your cancellation policy?

- You will receive a full refund if you cancel your event 4 weeks before your event date. If you cancel closer to your event date, you will lose your deposit. Please see our Covid - 19 page for policy updates.
